At Bondfish, our focus remains on making bond discovery more precise, transparent, and efficient for individual investors. As the size of our bond universe grows, the quality of filtering, sorting, and navigation becomes increasingly important.

This release is fully focused on improving the Screener experience. The updates below make it easier to narrow large datasets, search by identifier, and work with bond lists in a more flexible and intuitive way.

Range-based filters for core bond metrics

The Screener now supports Min-Max range filtering for key quantitative characteristics. Instead of relying on predefined values, users can define their own ranges for:

  • Yield
  • Coupon
  • Credit risk
  • Maturity

This makes it easier to express concrete investment criteria, such as targeting a specific yield band or limiting exposure to a defined maturity window, and helps narrow large result sets more efficiently.

Min–Max range filters are available on the Premium plan.

Bond search by CUSIP

Bondfish now supports direct search by CUSIP. This addition is particularly useful for U.S. bonds and for workflows where CUSIP is the primary identifier, such as broker statements or external databases. The search integrates seamlessly with existing identifier-based queries.

Multi-select across all filters

All Screener filters now support multi-select. This allows users to combine several values within the same filter, making it possible to explore multiple currencies, issuer regions, or bond types in a single query. The change simplifies comparative analysis and reduces the need for repeated searches.

Liquid bonds filter

A new Liquid bonds filter has been introduced to help users focus on instruments that are more practical to trade. The filter highlights bonds that show sufficient availability on both buy and sell sides and relatively tight bid-ask spreads based on broker data. This helps avoid spending time on bonds that may appear attractive but are difficult to execute.

The Liquid bonds filter is available on the Premium plan.

Updated minimum investment threshold

The former Amount filter has been replaced with a clearer Minimum amount filter. This explicitly reflects the minimum denomination in which a bond can be traded and makes the required entry ticket size immediately understandable. The updated naming aligns better with how investors think about accessibility and position sizing.

Clearer minimum investment threshold

Coupon column with sorting

A dedicated Coupon column has been added to the Screener table. As with other key columns, it supports sorting, allowing users to quickly compare bonds based on coupon structure alongside yield, maturity, and price.
